REED: How do you manage everything?

DAD: There's a small touch screen at the end of the nook. This is where a person push and slide-around to find programs - sort of just like an iPhone or iPad. The touch screen controls everything to the larger screen above, including your shelves regarding books, selecting what you want to read, as well as the B&N store, games and web browser that are all on the nook. There are two buttons on each side of the nook so that you can turn the pages ahead or backward and make use of whichever hand is the majority of comfortable. Probably the coolest feature on the touch screen is that you may slide your finger forward or back to turn the pages instead of using the buttons.

NOAH: You have a keyboard, two buttons to turn the page, there are four arrow keys, one for up, down, and side to edge. There is a button between the arrow keys to decide on stuff. Like the nook, the Kindle has two buttons to the side to turn the page. There is no touch screen.

REED: What options do you've from the main menu?

DAD: From the nook's main menu, you can get for a library of books in addition to magazines, a selection of each day blogs, the nook store, Sudoku and Chess online games, a web browser and all your device settings, like turning on and also off wireless.

NOAH: You have the choice to turn wireless wifi on or off. You have a internet browser. You can get small board games. You can buy books within the Kindle from either Kindle.com or Amazon. It depends on which Kindle you have. You can also share your books with other Kindle users.

REED: Is there a nook/Kindle app for the iPod, iPhone or iPad?

DAD: Yep. You can access a person's nook library from every device, including iPod (REED: I use the nook app within the iPod Touch I bought for Christmas!), iPhone and iPad as well as Blackberry phones (which i sometimes use), and your desktop pc.

NOAH: Yes. It isn't as good as the actual Kindle.

All in all, I think both of the e-Readers are very good and therefore are neck-to-neck. Barnes and Noble probably has a slight advantage due to their new Nook Color. I can't tell you too much more because I lack one. I would recommend the particular nook because it's very easy and the touch screen makes everything easier.

Thank you guys for reading this. I hope you enjoyed this site. This was a very fun review with luck because I got for you to interview Noah at classes. If you want to check out another interview, check out when When i interviewed the famous young people author Gary Paulsen.

The e-reader battles are clearly warming up, with the Apple iPad, the aggressive marketing from the Kindleand the Nook wanting to sneak its way into your conversation. What does this necessarily mean for medical students? Should iPads be compulsory in medical school?

Joseph Kim of Cell Health Computing argues it certainly should be, but I think the argument is just not well formed. nook or kindle
